LATRAPS was founded in 2000, has grown from 12 member companies into the largest grain / rapeseed cooperatives in the country thanks to the fact that the cooperative is open to any grain / rapeseed breeder.
At present, LATRAPS brings together more than 700 farmers throughout Latvia.
The area under cultivation is from 20 ha to 4000 ha.
Cooperative has significantly developed its activities based on supplying farmers with raw materials for production, pre-treatment and storage of delivered cereals and rapeseeds, sale of grain and rape, including exports, agricultural machinery trade, service and spare parts supply, rapeseed oil press, production of biofuel from rapeseed produced by cooperative members, non-tacis diesel trade for farmers.
